Belonging

From building worlds to building the human connections, creative communities, and cultural infrastructure that make those worlds possible. One day. Every discipline.

Be part of it.

Part I proved the worlds.
Part II builds the people.

In April, 300 builders came together and turned ideas into blueprints. Belonging picks up where Building Worlds left off — because worlds don't run on vision alone. They run on trust, community, access, and the people who choose to stay.

The program.

Rooms & Roots

Placemaking, creative identity, and the neighborhoods culture lives in.

A group of women engaged in conversation at an indoor event with colorful stage lighting, including a woman with a microphone and a woman with a headset, amid multiple hook-shaped light fixtures.

The Business of Us

Community as an economic engine — collectives, co-ops, creator businesses.

Venues are story environments.

City street scene with pedestrians, cars, a red brick building with decorative details, a store sign for Double Standard, and tall blue glass skyscraper in the background.

Frost Tower | Main Stage

A large multi-story brick building on a city street with trees, cars, and other buildings nearby, under a partly cloudy sky.

Geekdom | Workshop House

Downtown West San Antonio, activated block by block — walkable, connected, alive.

Modern glass high-rise buildings in an urban cityscape with a partly cloudy sky.

300 Main | Exp Venue

People gathered at an event, some seated and some standing, with a wooden wall background. Two women in the center appear to be discussing or working on a project on a tablet, assisted by a man with a camera or filming equipment. Other attendees are engaged with their devices or in conversation.
